“The research shows that nearly 60% of marketers have adopted inbound marketing strategies and more than 80% of those executing inbound marketing have integrated it into broader company goals. Although 60% of marketers surveyed say they have adopted inbound strategies, nearly 20% are unsure of what constitutes inbound marketing, meaning obviously more education requirements remain.
While Inbound marketing is a relatively new industry, it has seen major growth with almost half of the marketers surveyed, saying they increased their inbound budgets for 2013 to the point of exceeding what they are spending on outbound activities.
Blogging and social media, which require more time, but less budget, are a primary focus of those inbound marketing activities of those surveyed.
