If you are becoming a business owner without giving any thought as to how your product or service will be sold in the marketplace you are making a mistake.
First of all you don’t want to waste time and money on a product or service that customers don’t want. just think of some of the major flops by even huge companies like when Coke came out with “new coke” which was such a flop they reintroduced the the original as “classic coke” later dropping the word “classic” and new coke altogether. Or more recently netflix separating it’s online and dvd service costing the company 800,000 customers.
Companies that focus on sales and customers needs from the very beginning are more likely to have success.
The lifeline of any business is after all sales, for the successful business owner that is priority number one. Don’t make the mistake of assuming that because your product or service is the greatest thing since sliced bread that everyone will buy it. It just doesn’t work that way.
