“6 Months to 6 Figures”, I highly reccommend this must read book.

I recently finished re-reading Peter Voogd’s book “6 Months to 6 Figures”,  I highly reccommend this must read book.

If you’re one of the select few who are serious about you success, this book will change the game for you, as it is a breath of fresh air to the Entrepreneurial world.

No BS, No fluff, and No Sugar Coating. Just real world strategies from being in the trenches. Peter Voogd reveals the strategies he’s used to go from dead broke to over 6 figures within 6 months in multiple industries.

While many entrepreneurs struggle with inconsistent income, low productivity, and don’t have enough time in a day to get everything they want done?

Peter shows you ways to maximize your income, get bigger things done in less time, and helps you create your ideal lifestyle. It is about ACTION and even has assignments to write goals, plans, etc. This is a serious book for those serious about changing their life and furthering their success.

Most people just talk about success, wish they had success, but never take the necessary action consistently to achieve it. They spend year after year just trying to get by and never achiving the sucess they desire.

If you want a short guide that highlights a little bit of everything from the motivational/success library then this is a great book to have on hand. In fact, it might just be the best I’ve ever read on the subject.

If you are serious about your growth I highly recommend you get this book.

In this “New Economy”, Starting a Business is the best option for Millennials

Getting a college degree is no longer the near guarantee of landing a secure good paying job, for many Millennials starting a business may be a better use of their education.

The after effects of the recession, an unemployment rate that has yet to reach the historical  recovered U.S. economy of a 5% jobless rate and  longer-term changes in the labor market, have forced many of today’s graduates to take the first decent offer they receive, which in many cases they’re overqualified for the position.

Since the most recent economic forecast from the Federal Reserve is that the jobless rate will stay above 5% through 2016 it would seem to me even more reason for this highly educated group of young people seriously consider starting their own business.

And why not, the industrial age is dead, we live in the information age now the millennials aren’t old enough to not remember not having the Internet, they have totally embraced social media, smart phones, IPADS and all the technological advances as they come their way and they are more comfortable and confident using technology to help their business prosper.

So given the current changes for many of these overqualified millennials the best option may be for them to start a business.

Steps to Ensure Success with your New Year’s Resolutions.

Every year millions of people make New Year’s Resolutions and fail. Don’t be one of those people. If making more money in the new year is one of your resolutions, then take steps now to ensure your success.

  • If you still define success with a dollar amount, then you are only part wrong. The habit of defining success with a dollar amount might result in a chase that will never end and you will never attain your view of success. Check out a unique way to get rich by helping others with their personal development and business development.
  • Character does matter. Keep Your Promises, No Matter How Small They Are. Make sure that you will be able to do something before committing to it. Then be clear on the expectation, action, and result that you have agreed to. People tend to dismiss small promises as unimportant and even unnecessary. They are wrong, if you don’t take the small promises you’ve made seriously, you will damage your trust, and destroy your own reputation.
  • Failing to keep the minor promises will make it tempting for you to break your more          important promises in the future. Also, this shows the appearance of your being irresponsible, disorganized as well as making others feel unimportant. You will build trust by demonstrating that you can keep your promises, even with the small things.

Discover the traits and typical habits of a successful person.

  • Take Action. You cannot change anything and make any real progress without taking action. Knowledge is totally useless without action. That is simple. So take action right now!
  • Manage your time wisely. There is a difference between being productive and being busy. Being busy is often considered as a form of mental laziness. Busy people seem to be rushing all over the places such as conferences, social engagements, or meetings. Their busy schedule might give them the increased sense of importance. Yet, perhaps, it is an illusion. Literally, they are like hamsters constantly running on the wheel.
  • Keep Things Simple. Being in the information age, information moves with the speed of light and access to business development and personal development tips and strategies are more easily attainable. You and I have tons of opportunities when it comes to building life and career. Unfortunately, all these opportunities and “noise” also leads to complication, inaction, and confusion. We still must make decisions and must act on those decisions.

That means you should decide to choose things that you think will work and take action. After taking action, if the result is not as good as your expectation, then learn from the experience, choose another action and move forward.

  • Make Small Improvements on a Continuous basis. A mentor of mine used to ask the question to his team: How can you eat an elephant? The answer is simple: One bit at a time. You understand my implication behind that question, right? Yeah, it is similar to the challenged road to success. Make small and positive changes. Do that by exercising, eating better. By taking regular steps in your personal development and creating positive improvements in your business development, you will reach the success that you aspire to.
  • Spend Your Time With Right People. You are the equivalent of the 5 people you spend the most of your time with. Generally, successful people associate with like minded and supportive people. If you hang with wrong friends, colleagues, they are going to negatively impact you. Yet, if you spend time on the right people, you can become more successful than when you are alone. It is great if you could form your own team and then work together in order to make dramatic differences and increase your probability of success.

A mentor of mine often told his team: “You can make excuses, or you can make more money, but you can’t do both.”

Are You Ready To Seize the Biggest Network Marketing Recruiting Season?

If you are a retailer you don’t wait until after you have your turkey dinner on Thanksgiving to prepare for Black Friday. So when should network marketers start to prepare for the biggest network marketing recruiting season of the year?

start a business,investing,robert kiosaki

In case you are new to network marketing the next great opportunity for massive recruiting into your network marketing business or in other words the next prime recruiting season begins the first business day after January 1, (January 4, 2016) this is a time in which all successful network marketers will be doing a 90 day blitz.

But the smart network marketers didn’t take a month or two off before the prime recruiting season to rest up for their 90 day blitz.

The smart and successful network marketers were doing a 90 day blitz leading up to December 20th, building a team and preparing them for the next prime recruiting season so they won’t be working alone but instead would have an entire team doing a 90 day blitz during the prime recruiting season multiplying their efforts to best take advantage of the next great opportunity that arrives during the next prime recruiting season.

“The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities.” – Stephen Covey-author of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.

Smart, successful network marketers give priority to the tasks that, while they may be painful, will pay off in the end.

A few tips to help focus on the more difficult, more significant task that will propel your business to new heights:

Do the important tasks first thing in the morning, for one thing there are generally fewer distractions first thing in the morning.

Change your environment (nearby park or coffee shop) will often provide you with a boost of productivity and creativity, not to mention the benefit of fewer distractions.

Unplug, shut off your tech, don’t answer your cell phone or check your email or texts. Research has shown that multitasking affects productivity in a negative way.

What are you doing to seize the next Network Marketing Recruiting Season when it arrives?

Why Do You Let Fear Rob You of Success?

Fear robs many of us of success, we need to understand the fear of failure and stop making these excuses that are robbing you of success.

We all have known people who have the knowledge, talent, resources, drive and determination, yet they fall short of achieving success.

5a steve_jobs_vision

Many times these people suffer from the fear of failure. They would rather suffer through the same daily routine (even if they hate it), than attempt something new. They would rather not try, than try and come up short, thereby never succeeding.

You will hear them utter these excuses:

  1. “Its a dumb idea”
  2. “This isn’t the right time to ________________.”
  3. “I need to research this more before ______________.”
  4. “I need to get some things in order before _____________”.
  5. “I need to__________ have to _______ want to______ don’t want to____.”

One excuse after another about how they would but…..

Probably one of FDR’s most famous quotes is “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”

While I believe that to be true, I also believe something a mentor of mine told me many years ago.

He told me that “FEAR stood for False Evidence Appearing Real” which I also believe. If 98% of the things we fear might happen never do, it seems a waste of time and energy to worry about them.  After all do you really think worrying about the small percentage (2%) will prevent it?

“High achievers spot rich opportunities swiftly, make big decisions quickly and move into action immediately. Follow these principles and you can make your dreams come true.” – Robert H. Schuller

Do You Want to be Successful? Beware of People Around You that Don’t Support You.

The “Lone Ranger” is a hollywood production, in real life, to be successful you need people that will support and encourage you.

success,self employed,

Everybody needs support. Everybody needs encouragement. Not everybody is capable of giving support or encouragement, because they are afraid of the changes that might occur if you succeed.

Change is hard for many people, often it is the people closest to us that are unable to support or encourage us. Think about it, if you lose weight, they feel like a failure. If you create a successful business, they feel like a failure. If you achieve your dreams, they feel like a failure.

While you can’t completely shut out those family members closest to you in your lives, it is obvious you need to spend the bulk of your time with people that will sincerely encourage your efforts and avoid those who are unsympathetic and uninterested.

The good news is even if the people closest to you are not capable of providing you the support and encouragement you need for your success, there are other resources:

Dozens of other leaders in wealth, health and personal growth are standing by to transform your destiny. There has never been assembled such a team of global masters, great Mentors standing united to change your life!

The Mentoring Vault includes hundreds of life-changing Mentors. New courses with new mentors start every month, and previous presentations are available on an unlimited 24/7 digital basis.

In order for you to be able to continuously motivate and encourage your employees, it is important that you have a regular source of encouragement and motivation as well.

Zig Ziglar said, “People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily”.

Our FREE Resources page includes access to the entire Network to help you get started to enjoy better health, greater wealth and leave a legacy.

Do You Think Your Education will Help Your Success as an Entrepreneur?

Few colleges and post-secondary schools teach how to help with your success as an entrepreneur.

Entrepreneurs educate themselves mostly with reading books, trade magazines, attending conferences, real world experience and a number of other ways.

“Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune”. – Jim Rohn

You should never stop striving to learn more. Successful entrepreneurs are always seeking to educate themselves about new business strategies and new technologies among other things and are not necessarily enrolled in a school to do it.

Running your own business, whether a traditional, brick and mortar or you work from home, is not easy, not to worry now you can get help with that, with a platform that delivers practical, nuts and bolts information to your desktop or mobile device on subjects like….

  • Entrepreneurial Skills
  • How to Start a Business
  • Effective Internet Marketing
  • How to Take Advantage of the Current Real Estate Market
  • Investment Strategies
  • Asset Protection

…and more

Build Your Business and your own dreams or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

Are You Afraid Of Success? Many People Are!

The thought of being afraid of success sounds absurd, but the fact is like those who are afraid of failure, plenty are afraid of success and constantly make up excuses for not chasing their dreams.

les brown,limitations
The only limitations in life are the ones you make.

Many of us have grandparents that lived during the great depression, an era of American history that rooted an entire generation in a scarcity mindset. Unfortunately these great depression era Americans passed onto their children these ideas about money who passed them down to their children.

While the conscious, intellectual level of your mind knows you have done everything to be successful, the subconscious, level of your mind has been preconditioned, likely since your childhood with “money doesn’t grow on trees”, “a penny saved is a penny earned”, “money is the root of all evil” ( which is NOT anywhere in the Bible, by the way).

You need to understand the beliefs that you hold and work to change those beliefs you have in your subconscious mind.

Yes with success will come changes, you must be honest with yourself about that, but avoiding the outcome will only hurt you in the end, it important to find your true fears and work toward stamping out your fears.

Focus on the “why”, and keep in mind that sometimes the changes you make in the pursuit of your dreams will bring you happiness beyond imagination.

David Rockefeller said, ”Success in business requires training and discipline and hard work. But if you’re not frightened by these things, the opportunities are just as great today as they ever were.” I believe that still holds true.

Everybody needs support. Everybody needs encouragement. Don’t try and be a lone ranger, to be successful you need people, a team, that will support and encourage you.

3 Things You Should Do to Maintain the Focus that Success Requires

To achieve success it is vital to maintain your focus, here are 3 things you should do to help you maintain that focus.

Maintaining the focus we need to achieve success is more difficult today will all the distractions demanding our attention ( tablets, smart phones etc). But there are things you can do to maintain that required focus.

To master most any task, whether physical or mental requires focus. Focused thinking while practicing a physical activity like baseball or golf will improve your technique, just as focused thinking helps you break through to the solution of a difficult mathematical problem.

Remove Distractions.

Removing distractions is no small feat in our culture, but it is critical to your success. Set and maintain the discipline of practicing your priorities. Do the things that provide you the highest return first and keep distractions to a minimum.

There are a number of times during the course of the day that my cell phone is set to vibrate.

Schedule Time to Think.

Many people in our fast paced culture today have a tendency to multi-task, but research shows switching from task to task can cost you up to 40% efficiency.

“Concentration is the secret of strength in politics, in war, in trade, in short in all management of human affairs” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Determine when your best thinking time occurs and set aside time without distractions to do just that.

Set Goals.

Everyone tells us the importance of setting goals, the reason goal setting is so important is the mind can’t focus without clear objective. The purpose of your written goals is primarily to give your thoughts direction, not to identify the final destination.

The Best Business Advice I Ever Got!

“You can always make more money, but you can never make more time” was the best business advice I ever got.

4c steve_jobs_time_is_limited

That business advice came to mind as I recently decided to scale back considerably a marketing activity that was consuming way too much of my time and not producing the desired results.

He went into detail with a few ideas to help reclaim stolen time which included changing our relationship we have with time. Think about it we protect our money from being stolen, or wasted, why not guard our time also.

The words we use to describe time or lack of it results in increasing our stress making us less productive, and went into ideas on changes to make in the words we use.

Cut out the drama is my favorite, you know what I mean, your cell phone rings and looking at the caller id you know it is gonna be drama, so don’t answer it make um leave a message. And when you do tied up in a 30 minute conversation that should have taken 4 minutes get away, however you can (don’t you have another meeting 😉  ).

Another techey tool I use that saves me about an hour every day is HootSuite, HootSuite is social media management dashboard,  In addition to it’s Free version, that can manage up to 5 social media platforms. HootSuite also offers a Pro version to help you manage multiple (100) social networks from one dashboard (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+).

I have been using HootSuite for over 2 years, I actually use the pro version which is less than $10 a month (saves me a hour a day) to manage my multiple Twitter accounts, Facebook Business (Fan) pages as well as LinkedIn, Google + and my personal Facebook timeline all in one place with one login.

No I don’t have 100 platforms but in addition to multiple Facebook business (fan) and multiple Google + business pages I also belong to over 30 groups or communities on Facebook, Google + and LinkedIn. That I post to, while I never always post every post to all 30+ because not all post would be relevant to all communities or groups but I can send and monitor all feeds from one location.

It is important to start your day with positive, inspirational and motivational thoughts and ideas for you to excel and achieve success, fortunately there’s a FREE APP to help you with that.
